What is the Batting Strike Rate Calculator?
A batter's strike rate shows how quickly they score: the number of runs they would make from 100 balls. It matters most in T20 and ODI cricket, where a strike rate of 140 can be more valuable than a high average.
Enter runs and balls faced. To see how consistently a batter scores, use the Batting Average Calculator; for bowlers, see the Bowling Economy Calculator.

Cricket stats are linked: a team's run rate decides its net run rate, and each batter's strike rate and each bowler's economy add up to the team total. Use these calculators together:
- Run rate: runs per over so far.
- Required run rate: what the chasing side needs.
- Net run rate (NRR): tournament tie-breaker.
- Economy rate: runs conceded per over.
- Batting average: runs per dismissal.
- Bowling average: runs per wicket.
- Target calculator: runs and balls needed.
- Score predictor: projected final total.
Balls faced, not overs
Strike rate uses balls faced, not overs. If you only know the overs a batter was at the crease, multiply complete overs by 6 and add the extra balls, but remember the batter does not face every ball because of strike rotation.
