What is the Image Cropper?

Cropping removes unwanted edges and changes the shape of a photo. The image cropper lets you drag a selection box over your picture and resize it from the corner handle.

Everything happens inside your browser. Your files are never uploaded to our server, so contracts, CNIC scans, bank statements and personal photos stay on your device.

Pick a preset ratio such as 1:1 square, 16:9, 4:5 Instagram or passport 35×45 mm, or crop freely. Afterwards, resize to an exact pixel size with the Image Resizer.

How to use the Image Cropper

  1. Choose an image.
  2. Pick an aspect ratio or keep Free.
  3. Drag the box to move it and the corner handle to resize it.
  4. Choose the format and click Crop & download.

Example

For a passport-size photo, choose Passport 35×45 mm, centre your face in the box and download. Then use the image compressor if the form asks for a small file.

Cropping a passport or CNIC photo

Choose the 35:45 ratio, place the face in the centre with a little space above the head, and crop. Then use the Image Resizer if the form asks for exact pixel dimensions, and the Image Compressor if it sets a maximum file size such as 50 KB or 100 KB.
