What is the Payslip Generator?

A salary slip (payslip) records an employee's earnings and deductions for a month. Employees need it for bank loans, visas, rental agreements and tax returns. The payslip generator creates one in minutes.

Example

Basic Rs 120,000 + house rent Rs 54,000 + medical Rs 12,000 + conveyance Rs 8,000 = gross Rs 194,000. Less tax Rs 8,000, EOBI Rs 400 and provident fund Rs 6,000, the net pay is Rs 179,600.

Earnings

Basic salary, house rent allowance (often 45% of basic), medical allowance, conveyance, utilities, overtime and bonuses.

Deductions

Income tax withheld under the FBR slabs, EOBI contribution, provident fund, loan repayments and advances.

Payslip vs salary certificate

A payslip shows one month's earnings and deductions. A salary certificate is a letter from the employer confirming the employee's job and pay, often asked for by embassies.
